Sir Yon, The Onion Knight of Cebolla

$1,000.00

(Ca 1563-1593) Constantly, embroiled in war against his cousin the Prince Pierre du Shallot, Sir Yon was regarded as the most formidable knight of his day— known to make any man cry. Despite his innumerable military achievements for the kingdom, and initial love by the people, he was always looked down upon by his noble cousin for his lack of lineage. This rejection and his paper thin skin led to skirmishes, which eventually ballooned into the War of Alliae. Soon, Yon was laying waste to the same people and lands he swore to protect. In a bout of paranoia, Sir Yon retreated to his many walled fortress in the Hinterlands, and spent many sleepless nights writing poems that criticized the people, the war, and of course, his cousin, Prince Pierre. With nothing left to lose, the subjects of Yon’s land revolted against him, destroying his fortress and him with it.
